Valencia Tourist Card in la Lonja
Valencia Tourist Card

Single User Valencia Tourist Card

The single-user Valencia Tourist Card comes in three duration options. You can choose between 24, 48, or 72 hours.

Regardless of the type of card, once you activate it and for its complete duration, you will enjoy:

  • Free public transport across urban EMT buses (Zone A), metro, and trams (zones A-B-C). MetroBus (yellow buses) and Renfe Cercanias are not included.
  • Free entry to municipal museums and monuments.
  • Special discounts on 130 participating tourist leisure services, restaurants, and shops. These include tourist attractions, like the City of Arts and Sciences, the Cathedral, private museums, tourist bus tours, walking guided tours, cruises, and many more.
  • A map of Valencia with a discounts guide. Here, you will be able to check where you can use your free entry or discounts.
  • Two tapas and two drinks for free, with each card.

Card prices vary depending on the duration. Getting these cards online from the official VLC website is more convenient, as additional discounts apply. For adult tickets, you get a 10% online purchase discount, while for children (ages 6 to 12), you get a 15% reduction. When buying in person, children pay the same as adults. Following is a price breakdown table.

The card is activated on first use when you tap it and scan it (this could be at a museum, public transport, etc). The hours of validity will start to count from that moment. This means, if you have a 24-hour card and you activate it on Thursday at 4:00 pm, you will be able to use it until Friday at 4:00 pm.

Valencia Tourist Card validated on public transport
Every time you use the Valencia Tourist Card, you should validate it. On public transport, you can do this by tapping the card on the machines like the one pictured here.

Keep in mind that urban transport in Valencia is always free from 0 to 5 years of age by bus, and from 0 to 9 years of age by metro. Children also have free or reduced rates in tourist assets. VTC discounts apply on top of these reduced rates.

Also, we would like to remind you that municipal museums and monuments in Valencia are always free on Sundays, even if you do not have a discount card. Therefore, we do not recommend activating or using your VTC on a Sunday.
