Group Valencia Tourist Cards
Group Valencia Tourist Cards
The VTC for groups essentially works the same way as a normal individual tourist card. This means that regardless of the type of card, once you activate it and for its complete duration, you will enjoy:
- Free public transport across urban EMT buses (Zone A), metro, and trams (zones A-B-C). MetroBus (yellow buses) and Renfe Cercanias are not included.
- Free entry to municipal museums and monuments.
- Special discounts on 130 participating tourist leisure services, restaurants, and shops. These include tourist attractions, like the City of Arts and Sciences, the Cathedral, private museums, tourist bus tours, walking guided tours, cruises, and many more.
You will still have the three duration options: 24, 48, 72 hours. After purchase, every group member receives their own Tourist Card. This means that each card is independent of the others in the group, and can be activated at a different time. That is to say, if you get a 24-hour VTC with a group of 20 people, and someone in the group activates their card today at 11:00 am, but you activate it at 4:00 pm, your card will be valid until 4:00 pm tomorrow, while theirs will be valid until 11:00 am tomorrow.
The only difference between single-user and group VTC is that when you buy group cards, you will need to purchase at least 20 of the same card (meaning they all have to be for the same duration). This way you will get a 15% discount on the normal in-person price of a single VTC.
This is true both for online purchases and in-person at a tourist office or digital kiosk. For example, if you were to buy an individual 24 hours VTC at a tourist office (or online), you would pay €15.00. When getting a group VTC for 24 hours, each card would cost you €12.75, for a total of €255.00.
Online or in-person purchase* |
24-hour group VTC | 48-hour group VTC | 72-hour group VTC | |
---|---|---|---|
Online or in-person purchase* | €12.75 | €17.00 | €21.25 |
The card is activated on the first use when you tap or scan it (this could be at a museum, public transport, etc). The hours of validity will start to count from that moment. This means, if you have a 24-hour card and you activate it on Thursday at 4:00 pm, you will be able to use it until Friday at 4:00 pm.
We would like to remind you that municipal museums and monuments in Valencia are always free on Sundays, even if you do not have a discount card. Therefore, we do not recommend activating or using your VTC on a Sunday.
