Fallas Valencia - La Cremà

The Cremà is the climactic moment of the festival. Anticipation is at its highest when the time for the bonfires comes.

First, come the smaller fallas infantiles. Slowly, one monument at a time, the public witnesses the bigger and more impressive fallas burn up into the night sky.

The bonfires are always accompanied by astounding firework displays, bigger and louder each time. The longest and most dramatic display is the last one, in Plaza del Ayuntamiento. After the final, deafening boom, people watch the closing act of the festival, as the roaring flames consume the falla municipal.
