SIT (Società Italiana Trasporti) buses are a less popular alternative for reaching Rome, but they can be convenient if you’re looking for comfort and convenience, especially if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage.
Stops
This service is specifically designed for cruise ship passengers. The departure point for the buses is the reception center at Largo della Pace and on the way, there are a couple of stops within Rome:

Prices
The cost of the SIT bus ticket is higher than that of the regional trains and equal to that of the Civitavecchia Express. However, with this service, it’s not necessary to go to the Civitavecchia train station, so it’s certainly more convenient and sometimes cheaper.
