How to get to Paris from the Beauvais Airport

Much smaller than CDG and ORY, the Beauvais Airport is normally used by low-cost companies and smaller flights

Located 85 km (53 miles) northwest of Paris, the Beauvais–Tillé Airport (abbreviated as BVA) is much smaller than other airports by the city, with only two terminals.

Transfer services

A private transfer is certainly the quickest and most comfortable way to move between the airport and the city, albeit more expensive. You’ll only need to book in advance, and a private vehicle will be waiting for you outside the terminal, ready to take you to your accommodation.

Shuttle

The shuttle bus is a direct connection between Beauvais Airport and Paris city centre (specifically Porte Maillot, by the Arc de Triomphe). The schedule is adapted to the flight timetables, and the ride takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The price of a one-way ticket between the Airport and the city is €16.90. Reduced prices are offered to children 4-12 (€9.90).

Train

Another way to reach the city is with the regional express train TER. This ride also takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Keep in mind that to get to the Beauvais SNCF station by the airport, you’ll still need to get a bus or taxi. For this reason, we recommend you take the shuttle rather than the train.

Taxis

Of course, you can also take a cab to reach whichever destination in the city. Unlike with the CDG and the Orly Airports, there are no fixed rates for transfers between the centre and Paris. However, depending on traffic and demand, a ride to or from Beauvais Airport costs between €140.00 and €170.00.
