Musée des Arts Décoratifs

Paris’ Musée des Arts Décoratifs is the largest museum of decorative arts in Europe

The Musée des Arts Décoratifs - which translates to Museum of Decorative Arts - is a museum dedicated to the decorative arts and crafts, the largest of its kind in Europe. Although the Decorative Arts Museum is located in the north-western wing of the Louvre Palace, it is not considered part of the Louvre Museum.

Entry to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is included in the Paris Museum Pass. The Pass lets you skip the queues at the entrance and get into the city’s most important museums for free, so we strongly recommend it. Among the included items you’ll see furniture, religious paintings, tapestries, altarpieces, ceramics, wallpaper, tableware, carpets, and more.
