Paris’ easiest-to-use and most popular ticket, the T+ is ideal for an occasional ride in the city centre
T+ tickets are your basic one-way tickets used for Paris’ public transport. They are great to move around Paris’ entire central area, and they can be bought either individually or in packets of ten (carnets).
T+ tickets are integrated, so they can be used on the entire Métro network, Paris buses (including the Noctilien, the nighttime buses), tramways, the Montmartre funicular, and the RER trains in Zone 1.
Regardless of the type of ticket or bundle you have (single or 10 tickets carnet), remember to validate your pass every time you change buses or trams (not necessary when changing metro or RER lines).
Single T+
T+ tickets can be bought individually. They are valid for transfers between different means of transport and their duration varies depending on where you first validate them. The only T+ not valid for transfers is one bought directly on the bus.
Here you can find a summary.

T+ carnet of 10
Instead of buying T+ tickets one at a time, you can also buy them in packets of ten, called carnets. They have the same duration and zone validity as individually-purchased T+ tickets.
The only difference is that these packets need to be loaded on a reusable Navigo Easy Pass, which will cost you €2.00.
Prices
T+ tickets bought in a packet cost less than individually-purchased ones. Remember that buying individual T+ tickets costs slightly more if you buy them on the bus instead of a selling point.

Where to buy them
You can buy T+ individual tickets at:
You can buy T+ 10 packets at:
- Automatic vending machines in all Métro, RER, and tram stations.
- Selected TGV train lines.
- RATP authorised retailers.
Although it is possible to buy T+ 10 packets online, we do not recommend this, as you would need to pick them up at specific stations or pay for delivery.
